Socra AI Launches ‘Socra AI,’ an Education Platform for Middle and High School Students

Socra AI (formerly Riiid) has launched ‘Socra AI,’ an AI application for middle and high school education.
Socra AI is an education platform designed to help users think for themselves by comparing multiple AI responses presented simultaneously to a single question.
By launching a platform that shares the same name as its corporate mission reflecting its commitment to ‘AI that helps people grow,’ Socra AI is seeking to shift the paradigm of AI use in learning environments.
Whereas AI had previously been used in a passive way, with users simply accepting the correct answers it provided, using Socra AI enables users to become active participants who leverage AI through the process of directly comparing and reviewing multiple responses.
Built on a structure in which multiple AIs cross-validate each other’s answers, the platform is designed to reduce the likelihood of users accepting a single AI’s response as-is. This helps prevent students from being indiscriminately exposed to inaccurate information while using AI and provides a safe AI usage environment that parents and educational institutions can trust.
The platform is currently powered by ChatGPT and Gemini. Users can use Socra AI for school and academy homework, performance assessments, and general information searches, and Socra AI visualizes the reliability and usability of AI-generated answers in the form of traffic lights. Green indicates the answer can be used, yellow indicates caution and review are needed, and red indicates it cannot be used, allowing users to intuitively judge both the reliability and usability of AI responses.
In addition, it analyzes AI responses using the concept of sets. Content commonly presented by both AIs is shown as the intersection, differing opinions from each AI are shown as the difference, and what neither AI answered is shown as the complement.
Socra AI plans to expand its service by integrating additional AI models beyond ChatGPT and Gemini. It also intends to further strengthen its current identity as an ‘answer comparison AI’ by advancing its UX (User Experience) for comparing answers.
